Not All Paths Have The Same End

To achieve a goal, you must be flexible in how it gets accomplished.

The process must serve the goal. There are times we get caught thinking that something must be done a certain way. But the truth is we need to change what we do to get closer to the goal. For instance, the five year plan. Business leaders can’t use it. Technology changes, industry changes, laws change and in eighteen months the business model no longer works. Or unknown competition comes in and decimates the industry. The goal doesn’t change the way it get accomplished should.

If the road less traveled is going to get you there take it, if the path well worn is going to get you there take it, if you come to a fork in the road, follow the one that is going where you are going. The Path only matters because of where it leads.
