Put Pain in the Plan

The plan is only in the imaginary stage of what could be. You know what I mean by the plan. The plan to get your life together, the plan to get in shape, or the plan to start your own business. The plan is always based in a smooth pain free world. The plan doesn’t take into account the actual pain you will suffer as you go after your goal. That is when the plan goes out the window. That is when some quit or they modify the plan so they can ease their pain. The problem is the plan might have worked. The plan had a path. You just didn’t know the pain to walk that path was going to be so intense. You have a choice keep going, or make it easier. If you make it easier, you cannot blame the plan if it fails. Next time you make a plan, plan on pain.
