Art is a commodity, it is a good that is bought, sold, and stole. When we create it more than our effort goes into it, a part of us does too. We resent the income it could generate and at the same time we want it. We want to go pro and make art for a living. We want to enjoy the labor of our hands. Life doesn’t always give us that opportunity. Life for most, presents us with a challenge. It asks, how bad do you want it? It doesn’t ask once, it doesn’t ask twice, it asks at almost every opportunity you get. That is why the old saying goes, with every setback there is a seed of opportunity. So, the rest of the day is up to you. Do you work in spite of the disappointments? Do you continue with your dream?
Or do you quit and find someone else to tell you what to do with your time and energy?
How bad do you want it?
